With Jurassic World Evolution 3 coming somewhere in FY26 I fought I create a top 10 of animals I wanted the most. Yeah if you remebered my list of most wanted species I want in Evolution 3? Yeah that was almost two month ago and making a list of it. Any how I present to you my top 10 most wanted species I want in Jurassic World Evolution 3 - Vol. 1. I will do a Vol. 2 sooner in the future.
#10. Altspinax (or Becklespinax)
Although this animal will look similar to the concavenator from JWE2's Cretaceous Predator Pack, the altispinax made it's cannon appearence in Netflix's Jurassic World: Chaos Theory where they were used by the DFP to hunt down one of the Nublar Six. Hopefully will get this animal in the base game any time soon.
#9. Camptosaurus
Honestly another Jurassic ornithopod will be spectacular addition in the game since the only Jurassic ornithopod we have so far in both Evolution 1 & 2 is the dryosaurus. The camptosaurus is one of the famous dinosaurs in the Jurassic period with the likes of allosarurus, archaeopteryx (will get to that later), brachiosaurus, dilophosaurus, stegosaurus, and megalosaurus, and I hope that Frontier will include this animal in the base game.
#8. Centrosaurus
Well their are other ceratopsians that do deserved to be in the JWE games but we haven't got them like protoceratops and psittacosaurus. The centrosaurus is one of the, I mean it is the name stake of it subfamily and it would be a welcome addition in the Evolution games.
#7. Plateosaurus
Okay now this one has been requested by a ton of fans for a long time and still never got it yet. The plateosaurus is one of the earliest sauropodomorphs to have ever lived, it shows the evolution of sauropods appeared as bipeds, until they evolved into the quadrupeds that we know and loved. It will be a great part of the roaster of Triassic species that we already got like Coelophysis, Herrerasaurus, and Shonisaurus.
#6. Mononychus
Right know both Evolution 1 & 2 are lacking some alvarezsaurs so I think Frontier should go and at least two in the game, one of them being mononychus. Is one of the smallest and unique animals to have ever lived in Cretaceous Asia with a few appearances in media being Chased by Dinosaurs and Prehistoric Planet. It is has some connections species in the franchise appearing as a taxidermy in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. So yeah Frontier should definitely should give the small dino more love by adding it into the base game.
#5. Dromaeosaurus
Although over shadowed by other more popular dromaesaurs like deinonychus and velociraptor. The dromaeosaurus should be part of the base game because it was the name stake of the family and who would even dare to say no to it? Well to me "nobody." Oh yeah and their are other dromaeosaurs that do deserved to be in the game, such as austroraptor and microraptor.
#4. Miragaia
It was in both Ludia's Jurassic World game and made it's debut in Dinosaur Revolution, miragaia is one of the most unique animals of the stegosaur family because it is known for it's long neck compared to the other stegosaurs making it look like a sauropod with plates on it's back. overall it will make a unique addition to the base games roster.
#3. Archaeopteryx
We already got enough pterosaurs in Evolution 2 so far (well minus five or six of them), so how about aerial dinosaurs like Archaeopteryx? Compared to modern day birds the archaeopteryx does have similarities, they both have broad feathered wings and small bodies. This could be a perfect new to aerial species for your aviary's and I can't wait to see what will it's flight, eating, resting, and sleeping animations will be like.
#2. Brontosaurus
Oh yeah, this is absolutely the most famous sauropods beloved by a lot of fans through out it's appearance in media, appearing in 1925's The Lost World and 1933's King Kong. Brontosaurus is such an icon, in the last 100 years scientist used to think that both apatosaurus and brontosaurus are actually the same animals so it's word is never used, until a research study of 2015 that show that both apatosaurus and brontosaurus are separate genus, so finally the word brontosaurus is brought back. Since we never saw this creature in media again for a very long time, until it's come back in Prehistoric Kingdom, Frontier should also bring brontosaurus back in media too by adding to the base game's roster to give it a ton of love to people to welcome back this gentle giant that has been gone for a very, very long time.
#1. Smilodon
Smilodon, or the commonly name sabre-tooth cat, was one of the most iconic prehistoric mammal to have ever lived in our imaginations. With it's debut cannon appearance in the 4th season of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, this one of the animals that is left out in Evolution 2. This is absolutely the time that Frontier should introduce us to Cenozoic animals in Evolution 3, like mammuthus, coelodonta, megaloceros, paraceratherium and more. This extinct feline should indefinitely be part the animals in the base game and their is no way of saying no to it.
